What the Heck Happened Here!

  1. I toss up my graduation cap. I thought I'd be hearing the cheers from other classmates and parents, but that wasn't what I heard. I heard a boom, a crackle, a huge collapse. I turned my head to peek over my shoulder. It was the school. I mean, i could say I was sad but I wasn't. Yeah you could say I'm cold hearted, but I knew it was gonna happen. I've wanted to blow that hell hole up for years, and now I've done it. Good job Abbey, good job, as I tap myself on the back. So proud of you girl, good work.

  2. Senior prank gone right. This is reporter Katie Mae reporting. It is said that as the Senior class was getting ready for there senior pictures with there caps and gowns on, there was a huge explosion occurring. It is reported that a small smoke bomb was detonated in the girls dorms. Causing the walls to shake and to collapse. But what the seniors didn't know was that the headmaster was in the dorms poking around. We do not know why he was in the ladies dorms but, what was reported was that a finger may have been lost, or maybe a ear. That part is unclear but in this reporters views he probably deserved it.

  3. Cameras fell away from the faces of stunned parents as they focused on something beyond the graduates and their flying hats. "Oh my lord," one murmured just loud enough to catch the attention of the young party with the backs to the building. They turned, their hats falling lamely on the dry grass, and laid their eyes upon the billowing clouds of black smoke that rose from their alma mater.
"Holy..." The exclamations of the students were drowned out by the sudden roar of fire consuming its victim. But something was wrong. The school looked untouched. Red flames did not envelope it, smoke did not bloom from shattered windows. Aside from the mysterious smoke and crackling fire that remained unseen everything was serene.
Then a skinny finger emerged from behind the building, stumbling over his own feet. Tears streaked his dirt smeared face and a wild yell escaped his lips, "it's gonna blow!" The crowd watched in awe as a distinctly rainbow van was rocketed into the air and fell back to earth. "Well," the boy said after an extended silence, "experiment 45.7 failed." He made a note in the little red book he carried and walked away.
"Nerd," one graduate muttered to the other. Then they resumed their picture taking.

    Revenge is sweet and deserved.

  5. Who would have ever thought that the end of a chapter could turn into the end of our story? That's what it felt like, but that's not what happened. We weren't safe, but we weren't not safe either. We all took our cap and gowns on our senior class trip because living in Alaska, we don't get much nice weather. We were in New Jersey, right outside of New York City, at the hotel we were staying at. Our teachers gathered outside and we all out our black robes on. They took many pictures of us, but as we threw out caps into the air for our most wanted shot a loud noise cracked the air. It was like a whip against the human body. All of our heads jolted towards the hotel to see what was going on. There was this puff of black smoke surrounding the building. It was terrifying. The blood drained from my face as my classmates and I fled to hide. There was no where to go. A lot of people cried, but I didn't. I couldn't. I was numb. I didn't know what to feel. I should have felt happy I was alive, but I should have been sad because everyone in that hotel lost their lives. My emotions cancelled out. My toes and my gut twitched and turned and twisted into weird, painful shapes.

There was a reason that we all survived. God saved us. We called our parents to inform them that we were alright and that the police had caught the killer. However, it was a suicide mission. Nothing was accomplished in the end. I'm not safe, though. That could happen anytime, anywhere. I'm sheltered and I hope to stay that way in my log cabin surrounded by snow and darkness.

  6. "Hey Danny did you see our graduation photos?"
    "No. Why?"
I wandered over to see what she was talking about, and to my amazement. She had digitally edited our photo so it looked as if an explosion occurred near the science wing of the school.
Bursting out in laughter I couldn't help but say. "How and Why?"
"Since I'm co-editor of the year book I photo shopped an IED explosion into the background. This way we know when we look back that we destroyed this place."
"I'm glad I order a year book now!"
